The Monterey Coast – a “Come to Life” Postcard

The Monterey coast has no shortage of all things active, by paddle, on foot, pedal or golf cart.

Destinations, Spotlight

To cope with your “cabin fever”, one of the most scenic road trips can be found winding along the coastline of Big Sur on highway 1.

Tucked-away tasting rooms offer handcrafted wines often poured by the winemaker, while practicing health protocols of social distancing at this time. Enjoy a round of 18 holes at one of the legendary golf courses including unrivaled Pebble Beach. Looking for something simple, pack a picnic and watch the sunset on the sands of Carmel Beach.

Within the one-square mile of Carmel-by-the-Sea, are a blend of rustic cottages, shingled beach houses, modern see-through glass homes, log cabins and multi-million-dollar estates.

The village of Carmel-by-the-Sea represents everything that has contributed to the phrase ‘California Dreamin’.  With an environment conducive to creativity, Carmel’s small-town charm continues to maintain a special appreciation of art and culture.
