MARK CUNNINGHAM: Traveling always inspires me. Having recently seen “Picasso on Paper” in London and the “Charlotte Perriand” show, they both were very inspiring.
C: Has your process changed over the years? If so, how?
MC: I don’t think it has changed that much, but I do like to sometimes change how we present to a client, depending on the project. With years of experience, my confidence has naturally increased and am surer of my design choices.
C: Where do you shop to find the unusual?
MC: I do like to shop at auctions and in general I’m always looking for engaging and unusual no matter where I am.
C: Three adjectives that describe yourself.
MC: Open, Curious and Precise
C: How do you keep a work-life balance?
MC: Surrounding myself with great friends. Traveling always helps!
C:You are a designer of luxury environments and experiences. What’s your personal luxury?
